While travelling South America in search a career change after working in laboratories since finishing a Bachelor in Biomedical Science, Tracey was bitten by the wine industry bug
. The combination of a passion for science and a love for the outdoors lead her to studying a Grad Dip in Oenology, this allowed her to combine a career with her other love of travel. Back-to-back vintages followed, finding knowledge in the Hawkes Bay, Oregon, the Hunter Valley, California, Burgundy, and lastly Canada before an Assistant Winemaker role called her home to Central Otago.
Once settled in Central she thought it was about time to learn how to grow grapes this led to studying a Grad Dip in Viticulture while working in vineyard management. Currently diversifying into cherry and arnica flower growing on the shores of Lake Dunstan.
